Ink types

If a castmember has no alpha-channel, the blend of the sprite is considered in the alpha-channel of the exported image.


  • Figure A shows the castmember, which has no alpha-channel.
  • Figure B shows the sprite with blend = 50% on the Director Stage.
  • Figure C shows the transparency of the exported image, which is 50% (128, 128, 128).

AlphaComposer considers only the inks, which affect the image only through the RGB
values of the pixels and through their transparency.
